Hello all! Sorry for the long layoff. But as always I have a VERY good reason. I got lots of cool stuff to share so let me get started! First thing is I just finished the GN for Method Man and I must say this book is gonna be pretty awesome. I spoke to Mef recently and he's like a kid bursting with excitement! He has already got movie people askin' him about this book! In fact there's a buzz already on "Entertainment Weekly's web site!". So look for lots of cool promotional deals comin' up in the near future. One big promotional deal is Mef (and maybe a few other WU members) will be signing along with myself and the rest of the creators at San Diego ComicCon in July. More details about that later as well. I think the book is going to launch 1st at ComicCon then will be released everywhere after that. So get ready!!! Now a few more tid bits.
I'm doing some cool stuff outside of comic as well. I will be working with "UPPER DECK!"and the NFL to design more NFL stars for vinyl figures! You may have seen some of the of the recent figures on the market. Some of the figures were designed by my boys Sean " cheeks " Galloway and Sean Chen. So I guess I will have to put my 2 two cents in on this next set of figures! Look for the figures later in the year!!! Got a few other thing happening but can't really say just yet but I can guarantee you'll have full details when it all comes together!!!
Now finally for all the tons of emails, phone calls and folks at conventions who ask me about how could they get the music I have on my web site. I have some cool news. I conjunction with my DEADLINES VOL 2 sketchbook there will be an exclusive DEADLINES vol 2 instrumentals CD! That's right! A cd featuring all of the music you hear on my site along with some new joints that will be found only on the CD! The unfortunate thing is that the CD is limited and will be an exclusive at the NY and SD ComicCon. The only way you can get the cd is to request a sketch in the deadlines book and the cd will be yours for FREE!!! You can't beat that with a baseball bat!!!
But... I know what some of you are sayin'... "Awwww man that sucks for those of us who aren't goin' to those cons!" Oh but have faith my good people there's a good chance you may be able to order the book and get the free cd as well, but it may not happen until fall of this year. But to start things off my first stop is NYCC, so get ready my people! See ya April 18-20!! Look for me in artist alley and at DC comics booth!!!
