SDCC is HERE!!!
Well I must say I am actually excited about the ComicCon this year. I think
I am ready for the comic book fan onslaught!! If possible I will try to post
some news and updates from the show!!! But if not I will most def post Pics
and news from the show when I return!!! Hope to all see ya there. Remember
I'll be at the
PLAY MAGAZINE booth #4720 tryin' to " pimp my book ". Here
are some more sneak peeks of my book... Big shout outs to INDIGO INK for
their SPECTACULAR work on my book!!! Thanks again for all the support and

Hello all... It's been a minute since I've posted but I promise you I have a
good reason... Lots and lots of big things happenin'...I'll much more about
that later. But for starters I just wanted to let everyone know that Me and
Keron will be at the San Diego Comic Con July 25th through July 29. I think
Keron will be in artist alley and I'll be signing at the DC Comics booth
promoting my new book
Wonder Girl. However for the most part I will be
signing at the PLAY MAGAZINE booth. I will be sketching and selling my new
sketchbook
DEADLINES vol 2. It'll be 64 pages with half color concepts
etc... and half b/w pencil and inked pieces. Hope everyone whose comin' out
will stop by the play booth and pick up a copy!!! There's a Sneak Peek in the Artwork section under, you guessed it,
DEADLINES vol. 2!!!!!

Man... Sorry for the late update on the NYCC. Believe it or not I am just gettin' back on track from that show!!! That's pretty sad I know, but I can never just jump back into work after a big con. I know I'm not the only one!!! :D.... Anyway the show was off the hook!!! I got a chance to go up a few days early to catch up with a few of my NY fam. Big shots to my man DJ Eclipse for puttin' me up for a few days before the con... and for hookin' me up with some behind the scenes of his hit underground hip hop radio program
THE HALF TIME SHOW!!!! Playing the the latest and hottess underground hip hop as well as live guest each week doin' dope free styles. The show airs every wednesday night 10:30 pm - 1:00 am. Check it out... It will change your life!!!
It was cool to see a lot of dope cats that I listen to just come through the station. The next day me and Keron ( Grant ) checked out a hip hop show in Brooklyn. We never seen so many hip hop artist in one venue like that. Chuck D was the host along with Freddie Fox!!! Mr Bumpy Knuckles himself!! It was a star studded cast of hip hop artists that was big in 91-96.. ( ahhh... those were the days!!! ) Das EFX , Nice & Smooth, Black Sheep, Brand Nubian, Kool G Rap, to name a few. To top it off DJ Premiere was the house dj for the night!!! I was like a kid in a candy store. Keron was hangin' at the bar tryin' to be a playa!! :D While we were at the show we ran into the Mike and Mark Davis ( aka the MAD TWINS ). Creators of the dope BLOCKHEADZ property. So we all linked up and just enjoyed the show. And that was just Friday. The rest of the weekend was totally worth makin' the trip up in that 10 below weather!!!
Big ups to everybody that came through and bought my sketchbook, the artxilla sketchbook, my prints and even you guys that made my table a nesting spot.... You know who you are.... :D Ohh!!! and one more thing... The highlight of my weekend was meeting Michael Golden!!! To you aspiring artists or even you pros... If you never heard of him SHAME ON YOU!!! He's arguably the biggest influence of modern comic artist. This man is waaay ahead of his time. The artistic approach you see in comics today, he was doing back in 1985!!! Illustrating books like the MICRONAUTS, MARVEL FANFARE and NAM just to name a few. We met and he got a chance to see my work and he was impressed enough to give me his contact info... WHAT!!! Golden wants me to holla at a playa!!! So that bein' said I left his table like a real fan boy!!! Anyway.... I will have more news in the near future about some of the deals I was able to close while I was at that show. Some big and some REALLY big!!! In the meantime check out the new art posted. Got a new upcoming cover for Batman Strikes included. Be back soon!!!

Hello again my good people!!! It's been a minute and for good reason. I have a lot of good news to share with ya!!! First order of business is the con season is about to start!!! I'll be a guest at the New York Comic Con. I'll be there signing whatever I've worked on these past few years. Also I'll be over at the DC booth signing as well. The reason for me hanging out at the DC booth is that I am currently doing BATMAN STRIKES covers as well as working on the new series Legion of Superheroes in the 31st Century!!! Whew!!! That's a mouth full!!! I'll have my sketchbooks for sale there as well. So drop by my booth if ya can find me in all the madness!!! Does the con season seem to get earlier every year? In fact I don't think there's no such thing as con season anymore!!! lol....
Like I mentioned earlier, I am doing batman strikes covers and I did an issue of strikes that should be coming out in a few weeks or less!!! I added the first cover here for you to check out!!! Look for batman strikes #30 due out soon!! I also did a TEEN TITANS GO! short that should be out on Feb. 14th!!! Great day to give that book to someone you love!!! :D..... You can check out the pages in my gallery. The LOSH in the 31st Century title I'll be doing a lot of work on. I have #2, #3 and so on for that title. It's a cool gig!!! The characters are lots of fun to draw... I'll post my designs for them soon!!! As the weeks move forward I hope to be able to drop some more exciting news on ya. I'm about to burst on one particular opportunity. But I need to remain calm and cool.... ( breath in, breath out )... Well back to the drawing board!!! ONE!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you all!!! And speakin' of holidays, go check out the Justice League Unlimited Christmas issue. It came out a few days ago!!! I drew the issue, it was a blast!!! It's full of JLU's finest spreading holiday cheer.... well not really but go get it anyway. It could make a great stocking stuffer!!! lol...
Now on to a bit more news. I recently did a few illustrations for PLAY MAGAZINE'S annual GIRLS OF GAMING vol 4. It should be out at your local book store or game shop as we speak, if not, it will be soon. GOG vol.4 has some of the industry's hottest artist in comic books and animation doing there versions of some really cool female videogame characters. Tons of hot illustrations for the video games, animation and comic fans alike!!! Again another great stocking stuffer!!!
Last but not least I have some new sounds on the site produced by the VERY talented JAH FREEDOM!!! This dude is gonna blow up real soon!!! He's already gettin' tons of major offers!!! Keep an eye out for this cat fo sho!!! Well... I guess that does it for now. I'll have tons of more exciting news as the new year approaches!!! STAY TUNE!!!.... PEACE!!!!!!!!

What it be like peeps!!! Back with a few quick updates!!! I want to make a big shout out to Midi Marc and Amiri for the hot beats you hear on the site. They are some up and comin' producers that are makein' some serious waves in the hiphop industry. Look for these cats on myspace.com ( am i the only one without a myspace page?!!! ).
